would ya believe me if I told ya my cutter on the left the 2A model was 9 years old ... and the new bigger one on the right is almost bran new 6months old .. I would recommend these cutters not just because I know them in side out and grow up using sigmas but because as a everyday cutter they do there job and will last you a life time ... very easy to maintain ... cutting wheels are low cost .... my method of cleaning is after everyday a good general clean with soap and water in every small part and after each month a soak in WD40 spray overnight and a wash with steal wool and liquid soap the next day it breaks down adhesive and grout really well this method and will do the trick for yor cutters smooth cutting action .. all the parts are also regularly available to order for diatech if they were ever damaged in away.
