Hi Phil , are you laying direct onto the wire or are you just dry laying ?

Hi Harry, with this one I covered the uhf with adhesive using rubber grout float. Then I serated back of tile with solid bed trowel and bedded in for solid bed. A bit diferent I know, I would normally cover with slc. but time was against me. Cheers mate.

Hi David, thanks for your comment. This job was a one off, I don't usually employ this method. I covered the ufh wires with adhesive using rubber grout float, then spread back of each tile using a solid bed deep notched trowel. Using this method I always make sure I'm getting 100% solid bed. The reason I did it on this job was I had to lay the floor the same day, so didn't have time to use slc (self leveling compound). Hope this makes sense.
