Highly polished limestone. I had to remove a white wine mark that had acid etched the polish off (you can see part of it on the left tile - it went all the way across to the right tile too). Basically, using diamond pads after neutralising the mark, the tile was repolished and then sealed with an impregnating sealer for polished surfaces.
Cleaning an Edwardian tiled hallway. Took a break half way and took a photo!
300 year old limestone. Cleaned, regrouted and sealed with a linseed based impregnating sealant. Then burnished with a high speed polisher.
Old Quarry tiles. No DPM and lots of character. This floor was lifeless and filthy. Cleaned with a degreaser, a spot stain remover and sealed with a Colour Intensifier and stainstop. Then buffed over.

Terracotta - After a good clean and seal. Boiled Linseed oil / Strong surface sealant.

Grinding the surface of limestone takes patience, but produces excellent results. The tiles on the right have bitumen, latex and years of kitchen grime. The tiles on the left had the same, but after grinding and diamond polishing. No sealant had been applied. 67 on the Gloss-scale.
