Doug - You can cut this design from any tiles but in this case it is :
1) 250x200mm Oyster stone with a 50mm taco inset cut from Oyster stone.
2) Hand cut strips of Honed copper slate approx 35x225mm with a 35x35mm taco inset cut from Oyster stone. (have also done this design with a honed green slate!)
What I liked with this design, and the 3 times I've done it has been in conservatoies, is that the light shines off the different materials.
