Got a call to go and look at a bathroom to finish it off as tiler had done a runner, Now I am only a newbie but I have standards she wanted me to patch a few bits he had missed, had to point out it was the worst I seen, sorry for poor picks ! phone photos but they make it look better than it was. told her the lot needs ripping out and starting again oh dear!

Some might say rustic, No beading around windows just grout and mosaic broken bits were he has not been able to cut a section out.:mad2:

Silly question but customer has asked if their is anything she can do legal wise to get money back/work sorted. She paid cash and the guy was a friend of the builder doing her extension, apparently did a runner when she was'nt giving in to his slimy advances.:lol:

i dont think she will get her money back if it was a cash job was she given an invoice you could try the small claims court

No invioce like said silly question really but thought i would ask on her behalf, gave me the puppy dog eyes when said it needed ripping out felt that bad by the time I left that I nearly ripped it out and did it for free!!!! then reality came back and realised the mrs would have cut off my dangly bits:lol:

you say in your post that she wanted you to finish it off because the tiler had done a runner, was she happy with the tiling ? because she should have been saying can you rip out and do it properly..Mark.

not sure what she paid did dare ask, the scary part was I dont think she had thought it was as bad as it was and wanted it finishing until I pointed out the numerous faults . Hard to feel sorry when they accept that and pay for it
