got a ensuite bathroom on next thurs three walls staight forward one wall has the roof sloping down half way down the wall do i just tile up to it or do i need to cut the last tile to angle of roof hope this makes sense!

If I've understood you, just tile up to it to 2mm ish and run a bead of Silicon along the edge to flex with any movement.

if i understand you, you need to taper the cuts on your last row of tiles, take measurements from the corners of each tile to the ceiling, mark down on tile, and score and cut, or if it is stone a angle grinder is perfect for this situation.

OK, I'm confused, do you mean the wall meeting ceiling at point 1 or 2 in my drawing, apologies for the crudeness

if the angle is 45% as shown you could if spaced right put a border of full tile down ceiling line and cut in each row into it

if its not 45% degrees then just tile up and cut each tile as others have advised

Now I read it as going up to point 2 on my drawing, meeting the ceiling that comes down at an angle ?????

A nice bead of Silicon would be choice of finish in that case.

if I'm reading it right, I put a back bevel on tiles with my wet saw, so the face of the tile is longer than the back of the tile. Or do you mean the wall/ceiling measuremment is longer at one end than the other?

if the join between the wall and the coomb is running off sometimes it looks better to run the tiles at the same size and use a square edge tile trim to finish...

It depends on how true the line at wall to ceiling point is......some are way out of line...

I tend to finish with a trim to suit the tile...then the customer has a neat straight edge to cut to when painting..

this is how i do it, if the meeting of wall and ceiling is not level and true.

The way I would do it for a ceiling slope that has an angle is :
Place a straight wood batten flat, on the row of tiles below the top row, vertical, slide up to ceiling height. Make a mark on batten where it crosses the tile, transfer to tile you front of tile want to cut, make mark and add extra for grout line. Repeat other side.
You now have depth of cut for front of tile.
On the back reduce the height of the marks by the thickness of a tile.
Draw a line from each mark to other on front and back.
Use angle grinder to cut at an angle following the lines....
hey presto should fit perfectly.
If in doubt cut a little to big, then offer up.... Check and re trim until best fit is acheived
Hope this makes sense
This ceiling had an unusual slope from side to side and upwards.....
