I'm on a job, kitchen, 'l' shaped, 600 x600 porcelian. I knew my genesis 600 wouldn't cope, so asked a good mate to rent/borrow a cutter he may have to help me out.

He said he had a TX 900 N and I could use it for a few days for free. Great bloke he is to.

Impressed is not the word for it. What an amazing tool. Just the slightist touch, and bang, a good solid cut, no chips etc.

Now I'm going to put a few quid away a week to get a new TX 700 N.

Finally convinced!

Great tool....like they say, you never know till you have tried one....

The new light weight version is out as well Si....hopefully tradetiler can get you one in..

On hindsight I would have gone for the TX700 not the n version which I have

Depends on how much offset 45 tiling you do..?..the longer back fence comes in handy for diamond tiling with large tiles.

If I'm doing straight cuts I find the measuring bar in tight spaces can be cumbersome which seems most of what I've been doing, on larger jobs may not notice as much but Dave made a valid point about diagonal cuts on larger tiles which is something lacking at the moment, to be honest can't remember the last diagonal I done.

ive got a tx 1200N best thing ive ever bought. i didnt think it was worth the money at first but the size of tiles are just getting bigger and bigger. ive got a job to do that are 1000x1000mm. if i never had the tx id be buggered.

Digging my tx700N out tomorrow for some 60 porc. Great cutter if you have the strength to lift it.

TX 700 and TX 1200N if you struggle lifting your 700 Faith, don't bother getting a 1200:lol:

You can see the score wheel very clearly on the rubi and change wheel size in a couple seconds...can you do this on a sigma.....NOPE...:smilewinkgrin:
