They have offered to so it again bit this is the second time they have done this and personally I don't want them to do it the 3rd timeNot good in any way, shape or form try and get the ''tiler'' who did
this mess to sort it or your name and shame...
The tiles were laid for a 2nd time sounding hollow when they lifted the tiles this is what was underneathVery difficult to tell what’s going on here. It looks like a combination of Tile adhesive and silicone. Neither appear to have been touched by the tiles.
Clips ? Have they used them , but if they did, using clips won’t fail a floor,
Floor was laytexed and the blue stuff is liquid dpmGet Pictures of the whole area, but it looks like no back buttering and most have had dabs but under to level them.
Was the floor levelled 1st, what is the substrate ? Is the blue stuff prime grip ?
It's shocking isn't it and they argued with me that they were lates to British standards of tiling.... hence all the hollow sounding they wouldn't have it.and with this I saw everything ....
I thought I had already seen everything,
