Buying a manual tile cutter, Sigma or Montolit?

Just wanted to thank everyone for the help in deciding. Thought I would post what I ended up getting for future thread/readers etc. In the end I went to the store to get a new one and after some deciding back and fourth I went with the Sigma 3C2. Both the Sigma and Montolit seemed about as good...

Buying a manual tile cutter, Sigma or Montolit?

Haha :D I like when threads have pictures and stuff so I usually add them. Also helps people that come looking for information later on! So if I understand correctly its the measurement you take on the back of the scale when you do 45deg cuts that does not correspond to the numbers shown?

Buying a manual tile cutter, Sigma or Montolit?

Might be. But that sure looks like the new version of the bar and handle right? There was a blue handle in between the metal one if I am not mistaken from my google searches. Is there any other major improvements on the base itself? Also, do you think 150 euro is a fair price or would it be...

Buying a manual tile cutter, Sigma or Montolit?

Going to the store today to get some more time with the different models! I also found an older model of the 63P3 about an hour or so drive from where I live. He is asking for about 150 euros for that one. And it also includes a new scale and handle. Might be worth checking out? Dont know whats...

Buying a manual tile cutter, Sigma or Montolit?

Buying a manual tile cutter, Sigma or Montolit?

I looked a bit online on those but it seems to be hard to get them here in sweden. Seems to be mostly Sigma and some Monti Cant seem to find a seller that have the 3C3M in stock here and I cant find Rubi what so ever here in sweden. So it would probably come down to the 3C2 or the 63P3...

Buying a manual tile cutter, Sigma or Montolit?

That seems to be the general consensus. That the monti have the good flip measuring stop but that the sigma have better flip outs that holds the tiles, and on both sides. What made you go with Sigma instead of monti?

Buying a manual tile cutter, Sigma or Montolit?

Thanks for the advice! I will try and go tomorrow and see if I can get some hands on experience. Do you know what the "issue" described in the thread I linked was? I did not really get what the described issue was. Something with 45deg cuts and measuring the length.

Buying a manual tile cutter, Sigma or Montolit?

Hello! I am new here but I have been reading a lot about manual tile cutters on the forum. I am looking to get a quality tile cutter that will last a long time. I already have a wet saw and are looking for a manual tile cutter that can handle 400mm/16" tiles. My budget is around 350$. I am far...
