Worth having for some jobs. I got one for a large grinder to cut channels in a screed for heating pipes and it works amazingly well - you just get a bit of dust going in then once the guard is down to the floor most of the mess ends up in the hoover.

This one is metal construction and adjustable depth. Agreed though - more expensive than they ought to be perhaps!
