180x90cm tiles

I have a bathroom coming up using 180cm x 90cm x 1.2cm tiles any suggestions on a tile cutter that will cut these big boys I am looking at the sigma keracut but would prefer a machine that snaps as well as scribes the tiles

Not sure what you could use for those tiles Gary. Also the cost of a manual cutter that large will be a real dent in the pocket. We do have the snapper with the Keracut it's just not attached to the machine. When is the job coming up and where? Might be able to get the Keracut for you to use.

Before all the manual tile cutters came out we used to use a glass cutter and straight edge (admittedly not for 6 foot tiles) but we may be going round in cycles.

The job is in the Hyde park/marble arch area in London its a 50m2 bathroom so there will be a lot of cutting

you could ask karol to put them on his bench saw cut them for you or ask the fella with the jet cutter near me or if you have an old sigma you dont mind scraping we could look on the internet for a longer slide bar reatach the braker exstending the bed should be straight forward it will be a bit of a frankstien but should do the job

We do a 151cm Max cutter etc.. with the guide on. With it taken off I still don't think there is enough room to fit that tile under. I know some people remove their guide bar to get that extra on the bed. Anyway the 151cm MAX cutter cost more the 301cm Keracut. How would you add a new bar to a cutter? Do you mean chop the donor cutter at the end then fit a bar from the base and rail to extend it?.

Same price really Gary as a 128cm cutter from us. When doe's the job start?. And if you didn't get the Keracut how were you planning cutting them just out of interest. I have sold a few of these now all in the London area.

I was thinking of the dewalt dwc hand held wet saw and clamping a 2m straight edge to the tile and running the saw along the edge to give a straight cut, this works well with large format stone
