I have been tiling for 3 years, and i also do landscaping during the summer and tiling mainly through the winter months and it seems to work quite well. Doing a landscape job at the moment, spoke to the customer today and she asked what i did during the wet months, i told her tiling and i priced up for her this lunch time 25sqm limestone floor and 35sqm bathroom with travertine and as i was leaving tonight she gave me the job to start in January...lovely:thumbsup:

i work as a postman but now the royal mail has one **** up the hours have changed and now am still posting letters in the afternoon whereas i used to be finished before dinner time. im looking for a new part time job, something for 4 hours a day in the morning then by about march time i think il have enough business to do tiling full time

I do tiling jobs part time . My other job is a contract welder. So Im in and out of work frequently. As soon as I get a decent amount of tiling work I would like to set up on my own. Well thats what I hope. Its hard as you all will know, juggling between 2 jobs but one has to keep the beer vouchers coming.:mad2:
