I've been looking at quite a bit of this work recently Dave, lots of it posted on the tile geeks Facebook page which I believe you are a member of. It seems to be very big in the USA so I can only imagine it'll make it's way over here at some point.

A lot of prep to the tiles to achieve this look, I'm not sure customers would be prepared to pay the premium for that before a tile is even fixed to a wall.

I dont get it at all, its constantly pushed on Tile Geeks on facebook, Im bored reading about it to be honest.
All that lipping will just attract dirt and grime.
