Discuss 30m2 floor to tile. Any advice? in the Canada Tile Advice area at TilersForums.com.

I have a 30m2 kitchen floor to tile at end of week. The whole floor is suspended but one half is floorboards and the other chipboard. The tiles are Italian porcelain and will be either 600x600 or 300x600 depending on customers choice. It is also to include a underfloor heating mat. I'm going to prime the floor, fix marmox 12.5mm boards glued and screwed joints taped etc. mat to be fitted. Mapei ultra plan renovation screed on the top. Prime then tile. Do you think that would be fine? I will be making sure everything is deflection free. Would I be okay bridging the two substrates with marmox or would you fit a decoupling mat?

thanks ollie
