DHTiling

These are just some pics from the job at Bowes village I have been doing.

All walls are onto block work and I had to skim all walls first with addy to make sure they were flattened off, then tank wall areas to keep mould and damp out. Etc etc. ...

All floors are Anhydrite (Gyvlon LL ). Primed and tanked with Dural CI.

A Lot of work before tiling could even commence.

The white limestone was from Mandarin.

The 2 en- suites polished travertine from PHG, one done in landscape the other in brick.

The main bathroom in wooden travertine from Mandarin.

Hope you like.

P.s.. Pics to follow of the 155 mtr Jura limestone floor and the WC fully tiled in black slate..

Is the 'heavy gits' a reference to the shale pieces laid down by the rivers millions of years ago - or the extra 3mm above standard thickness - or you've factored your age into the equation!

Joking aside though, these Jura are quite dense and weigh more than your average tile.. but they are down now... just got a Bastille floor to look forward to now 🙂🙂🙂

Stunning work Dave. Even when you look at the reflection of door frames in the floor you can see its laid perfectly. Did you use anything like lash clips?
