i aggree d2400 is a great mashine, but i would like to know if it's good for cutting E,L shape etc. mitred corners. I have used my friends Dewalt (not sure if same model as above) but noticed it would be hard to do that . Or maby i'm afraid to change MY rubi for Dewalt , ( i love my rubi)

Interesting, Not sure what others think but having owned both cutters the Dewalt clicks all boxes for me. It hasnt failed to do what was needed. I am not a heavy user of the cutter but over the time I have had it, it has stood up to the demands far better than the Rubi which fell apart from day one and was rusting badly . The Dewalt was far easier to clean and transport too due to being able to split it up into separate parts.

Glad someones made this topic because i'm in the same boat. I've always loved Rubi but i've been looking at the DeWalt on tradetiler for a while with some interest.
I've got a cheap small wet saw and a small unbranded bridge saw. I've a few jobs coming up that would warrant spending the cash.

Is the general opinion that the DeWalt is the one to go for then? Sorry not meaning to hi-jack your thread Tony.
