I was on my way back from Skipton to Leeds and rang my wife. She put Sky news on as I just couldn't imagine what the scene was from the description off the radio. She said it was just horrific and when I got home saw it for myself.

Terrible day in US history.

I was putting ridge tiles on a roof in Arnside, thought the customer was winding us up at first, It was only when I got home and saw the news on tv that the full horror of it hit me. My most poignant memory is of the poor souls that elected to jump rather than burn. Not ashamed to say I wept when I saw that.

I say it every year though. It was a conspiracy. The American government has a lot to answer to, and the American people should keep asking those questions.

I was in tileflare sorting out an order, one of the lads working there had a brother that lived in the states, and worked in one of the towers, he was on the phone to his mother trying to find out about him, thankfully all turned out ok for him.....but not for the other poor souls...r.i.p
