Can anyone shed any light on this....
I've been told that the waterproof matting takes on the same spread/weight ratio as the surface it's being fixed to.
ie. if its fixed to plasterboard it becomes 32kg/m2, and if it's fixed to plaster it becomes 20kg/m2
Obviously taking into account that it's fixed to the substrate using the proper method.
Two questions spring to mind:
a) is this actually true?
b) and if so, then why doesn't plaster take on the same?
