Adhesive etc advice

Hi,
I would appreciate a bit of advice from you learned fellows.
I have had our bathroom professionally tiled a couple of months ago and I have a few very nice marble floor tiles left over (approx 600mm x 400mm x 15mm)
It is only a small job so I thought I would try my hand and use them to form a splashback above worktop in the utility room.
The wall are brick/plaster and freshly skimmed.
Do I need to prime wall?
Seal Tiles before applying?
Is there a particular adhesive for marble?

How high will you be tiling? Plaster doesnt not hold a great deal of weight and is often not strong enough to hold the weight of marble but if you are only going one tile high then I wouldn't worry about it to much. The wall will need priming with an acrylic primer and you will need an cement based (powder) adhesive that is suitable for marble as well as a suitable grout. Have a look through the link below and see if there is a Tile Giant near you, they should be able to sort you out with everything you need.

I should have said the tiles will only be one tile high.
What about sealing?

check if they're pre sealed, if not, seal before grouting. you will get a suitable sealer from tile giant
