Adhesive for SlimSlate costs more than the tiles - any options

I'm fitting a SlimSlate splashback.

The recommended adhesive only comes in 5kg
www.**********.co.uk/tprod45287/section172/BAL-Easypoxy-AG-5kg.html

The adhesive is 5 times more than need for the job and costs more than the tile.

Are there any alternative adhesives?

Reading this, you can use just about anything that is not water based. Even silicone!

It states "Tests have show nthat the most effective grout joint used is a water-based epoxy grout."
