Adhesive for tiled bath panel?

What adhesive would you use to tile a bath panel? proborbly 9mm ply

I have used no more nails in the past with flexi grout and that seemed to be pretty good...what would you use?

Wedi board with a fast set flexible adhesive.

What is wedi board? and how thick is it?....Someone has tiled the customer a panel in the past and the tiles fell off, looks like he used normal adhesive out of a tub to me tho

either cement sheets or wedi board,i would avoid the ply to be honest

a good flexi adhesive also ditch the no more nails thats not the way forward imo

check the bath framing is also absolutely solid.....any movement will possibly cause issues no matter what you over sheet it with

As above. If your bath has movement you will likely get cracked tiles and/or grout.

I generally have some vertical timber supports to support the bath and keeps it beautifully level. 2 along the long side and 1 each short side (if at a wall) near the outer corner. Chisel in a notch for the bath lip to sit in and you will be able to have a party in your bath. A lot of people will put in a baton the wall length but this tends to only prevent downward movement and not lateral but then there's ways around that too but bath clips are not reliably strong.

After doing that build a solid frame with 2x4 with vertical support along it and of course an extra horizontal if you want to be really secure... But it's not really necessary I feel.

This will then hold your wedi or whatever strongly with no flex or movement.

Then simply use a flexible addy and boom your done

Failing that use some cardboard backing and stick the tiles on with wood glue
