Can anyone here recommend an adhesive & also for future purchases a good supplier?

I have had no end of problems with TradePoint

Today:
Mapei Ultimate Super Grab 16.5KG white addy (tubbed)

was expecting discounts on other items which didn't come off
I know exactly what my prices are and what ill be paying before I even leave home, so I wont pay a penny more.
so as of Today, tradepoint can get lost and I left my trolley at the till.

so for tomorrow can anyone here recommend an addy suitable for 250x330x8mm white ceramics
would prefer bagged rather than tubbed but I am seriously struggling to find many white bagged addys.

Thanks!

Although B and Q have become "tiling specialists" their range of tile adhesive etc is frankly poor (only stock common DIY products). You need a trade account with a tiling specialist e.g. Tileflair, Tile Giant, CTD or Topps. You will always find the right adhesive/grout/Silicon/trims in stock in these places. Discounts vary, but a good flexible white rapid set adhesive will still cost about the same price as you quoted above.

I personally tend to use Tilemaster Adhesives lightweight white - more expensive - but it can cover more than 8 sq m of wall and the tiles don't slip.

Yeah I've seen B&Q stock hardly anything other than unibond products.
plenty of own brand fix&grout mind you ;)

Im fine paying £20+ for a good addy its only to cover a small project (4m square)
using basic tiles to tidy up a downstairs toilet. hardly ever used.

I like the look of that adhesive though!

We are not supposed to post prices on this part of the forum - but don't pay anything like that for TA lightweight. Because it holds so well it saves man hours too - so more savings there. Cheaper adhesives include Norcross and Palace (who also make Topps Trade adhesive). There are often very competitive deals on Weber products especially at CTD who are owned by the manufacturer of Weber products - Saint Gobain - Jewsons are part of the same company). Best prices on Mapei tend to be trade prices at Tile Giant.
