Can anyone offer some advice please. I've just bought some large 590x310 porcelain wall tiles from Porcelanosa and they convinced me to buy their Butech one-flex adhesve too.
Looking at the Bal technical tips they suggest that water based adhesives should not be used with such large tiles due to slow water absorption rate, and epoxy resins should be utilised. Is this true for the average person, or are they simply thinking about professionals who want to move quickly?
Also I am going to tile across a concealed cistern, and have got one of those "S-Frame" setups from Bathstore. Is heavy duty plywood (say 15mm) the best material to cover the S-Frame with or should I be thinking of using plasterboard and skimming it?
Thanks.
