Advice for wall preparation.

Got my 1st job for a chap I used to work with, went to look at it today.

The 2 walls that need tiled both have already have tiles on them and the cust has started to take them off taking some of the plasterboard with it, leaving a very uneven wall. What is the best way around this?

Get it plastered/skimmed or re sheet it?

After it is prepped, it will be tanked anyway as it is inside a bath/shower combination.

Any help appreciated guys

if the tiles are hard to get off without destroying the walls , cut the boards out with the tiles on and reboard

usually staight forward, is it a stud wall or dot and dab

if its a paramount wall you may just have to hack off and make good the walls

paramount is a wall thats two sheets with egg box in between

what tiles are you using

looks like a stud wall, just going to be ceramics, nothing fancy.

if its a stud just replace the board behind the tiles and tank the wet areas

fit noggins at the board edges to carry the edge of any cut boards

no need to get skimmed
