Just wondered if anyone on the forum could offer me some useful advise regarding a job I have lined up for next week.
The customer wants white ceramic tiles for the walls of the bathroom, however one row all around the walls has the same white tile with a square cutout in the centre. He wants me to put 4 small grey natural stone tiles in each of these and 2 vertical strips of 2 of the same tiles (1 strip above bath and 1 strip in shower). I know they need to be sealed prior to fixing and again before grouting (will be using grey grout throughout) and once more after grouting. I am using Bal Grip on the walls and wanted to know if I can get away with fixing the natural stone with the Grip or do I have to get some sort of rapid set for these small infills and strips? I have seen many references to natural stone absorbing the colour from the adhesive and the need for a quick setting adhesive.
Thanks in advance.:huh2:
