Advice needed!! Getting started in tiling

Hi everyone,
You’ve probably had many of these messages on here over the years but here’s another.
I am looking to find a company or person who can take me on as a tilers mate in order to gain more experience and confidence in tiling. I have recently completed a level 1 NVQ in wall and floor tiling and have found it difficult since to find anyone to help me progress further. I have worked with family members and people who work in the trades and have completed various small tiling jobs. I’ve had experience doing splashbacks and some large format tiling in bathrooms.
I currently work as a bricklayers labourer and have been labouring since I was made redundant back in 2020. Hence the want to change career paths and pursue something different. My skills are not limited to tiling alone, I have also got a level 1 in bricklaying and plastering, aswell as various skills I have picked up along the way. I also hold a valid CSCS card.
I have sent emails to companies, I’ve had responses from maybe 1 or 2 who act like they might be able to help me and then leave me hanging. Either saying they are busy they will get in touch when they can or just outright ignoring messages. I am desperate to get away from labouring and become a proper tradesman (tiler). I feel stuck! Any advice is welcome.

A long time ago when started off , my phone didnt ring for the first 6 weeks .
Set up your own thing offering repairs and doing little jobs and build up from there , freedom of doing your own thing even though can be longer hours .
They dont bother replying you , why would you want to work for them anyway ?
btw dont pack in your job , do at weekends etc til get going , try fill your weekends with own jobs
