Can anyone shed some light on this one, Im working at home this week re fitting the kitchen & dinning room, Im now ready to tile the floor throughout, the dinning room was treated to self leveler by myself about 2 years ago, and in places feels a bit powdery if you scratch it with your nail, the kitchen has marley tile down, but well stuck, I tried Dunlop universal bonding in a small area on the self leveler a couple of days ago it dried a bit rubbery and was easy to scratch off, I spoke to a chapp at Dunlop/Bal today who said scrape that off and thin it 4to1, that will penetrate much better and will be ok, as far as the marley tiles are concerend put it on neat. I have done this today it still scratches off in places, any idea's? do you think they will adhere ok ? I don't fancy chiselling it all up and re leveling, personally I think PVA would have done a better job
