Advice on marble intsall help

IM DOING A 65M2 MARBLE INTALL NEXT WEEK, THE SUBSTRATE IS HALF SCREED AND HALF WATER RESISTANT CHIPBOARD. IM PUTTING DOWN DITRA AND A MOVEMENT JOINT AT SUBSTRATE BREAK, I WAS GOING TO USE ARDEXAF200 TO PUT THE DITRA DOWN BUT ARDEX ARE TELLING ME THE WATER RESISTANT CHIP BOARD MAY NOT ALLOW THE ARDEX TO ADHERE? ANY SUGGESTIONS?

are you a pro tiler , if not i would suggest getting a pro in , chip board is not suitable imo

Yes chipboard i snot stable enough to stick to IMHO.. over board with something like hardibacker 250 ( minimal deflection required), then slc screed to height and then de-couple.

yeah im a pro tiler, never had this situation till now!

i only have a 18 to 20 mm max , door existing door threshold! 2mm ad, ditra 3mm 10 mm tile 5-6mm spf so cant overboard, any ideas? will anything take to the water resistant flooring grade chipboard to adhere the ditra? the builder has put extra joist in ect it seams solid the flooring is 20mm thick.

Use silicon around and then use a self leveling (Mapei) and jobs done.

chipboard is an absolute no go for tiling.Tell the client to pull it up and lay ply.Or sort out the height issue and overboard it.
