Advice on pricing

Anyone know the going rate for removal and re-fit of Toilet, Sink, Shower and shower door? I know it varies depending on location, so just trying to get a rough idea.

I would add a day/ day and a half. Put in your quote that if anything has been fitted in such a way it cannot be removed safely (without damage) you are not reponsible. Shower enclosures can be a bit fragile sometimes so you can't be heavy handed. Always add on for new flexis / pan connectors / traps etc.

I agree with Faithealer, day and a half on top sounds right. Don't forget to seal the shower frame from the outside on re-fit, not the inside..

some say £250 to do the plumbing is "way too cheap"... what you have to bear in mind is, if the customer organised their own plumber she/he could probably expect to be charged anywhere between £350 + £500 for the refit...
If the tiler has organised the plumber, in the customers eyes it's all one job...one price..the same if the tiler is multi skilled and doing it him or herself...one job..one price.
I think it's a balancing act...

Beanz - In our area a half decent Plumber is going to be wanting 200 a day plus materials - With a shower screen I'd say 2 days work so about 450 to 500 quid or there abouts...

Hang on a minute I think some people are talking cross purposes. Are you talking about removal and then installing a new suite? Or removal and the put the old stuff back in the same postion?

if it's the later I'd be around £200 - £250

If it's a complete new install I would be anywhere between £400-£1,000 cant say without seeing it

Ah! I thought that was a bit high.. lol! Yep, remove and re-fit same bits.
