Advice on which drill set?

Morning all

Just looking for some advice on which drill set to buy. Looking at the Rubi set on Tradetiler
Tradetiler Tile Rubi Wall Tile Drills

But wondered if its good quality, and also as I am just starting out (trying to keep costs down!) do i need the full set or are there particuler sizes that I would defo need, and just build on my collection!?

Any top tips on drilling thru ceramic's also muchos appreaciate!

The sizes you'll need will depend on the kind of work you carry out.
6 & 8mm - General rawl plugs for light fixtures & fittings
10 & 12mm - Fisher bolts for basins & toilets
15, 22 & 28mm - Water Pipework
32 & 40mm - Waste Pipework

That's a pretty standard list and a good starting point. Just remember to up size each pipe bit to give some tolerance.

6,7 & 8mm are all correct plug sizes.

10mm & 12mm the same

15mm pipe = 18mm drill bit to give that bit of room
22mm pipe = 25mm drill bit
28mm pipe = 30 or 32mm drill bit
32mm waste = 35mm drill bit
40mm waste = 45mm drill bit

you could also add

50mm waste = 55mm drill bit
100mm extractor fan = 105mm or 110mm drill bit
soil pipe = 110mm, 115mm, 120mm, or 125mm depending on exactly what's required.

i use 365 drills ,had the sets that cost 10 time more ,but think they are the best all round for the money

save your money on buying diamond drill bits from 100m upwards, just use an angle grinder with a decent blade.
