Hi All

Just wondered what your experiences were with these so called Tiling agencies. I had a bad experience with one only the other week.

Had to tile a bathroom - only 12sqm, decided to give this company a hand and also a way to provide new business,

Anyway I turned up and took a look at the job, There was another guy already there. Went down to get my tools only to arrive back upstairs and found this other fella tearing the tiles of the walls along with the plasterboard

He then turned round and said I would have to replace all the plasterboard at my expense. At this point it was pick up tools and told them where to go.

Hang on, Had you laid any tiles in the bathroom or had you just turned up to start the job.

Nope but a price was already agreed prior to me seeing the job. Have been told this is how these people work and then deduct there cut

Show them the Vs...who are they, i have never heard of such companies.

They are known as ATN (this is what i was told) - bloody cowboys.

They even had a plumbe on-site who said they had lost loads of work due to customer compaints - this also made me work out on the ob as you do not want to be associated with shoddy work eh...

So their saying, agree a price prior to seeing the job, turn up and if anything else needs doing that you\they didn't know about, then you have to pay for it.........


Find their office and personally tell them to f#** off
