Aggregate Fully Vitrified

Hi all,

Trying to access Pilkington website for technical specs on some of their aggregate based fully vitrified tiles as I am doing external steps with these soon.
Having problems registering with them though , so can anyone recommend best addy and grout for these types of tiles and any other info is appreciated.

I used Ardex X7R when I fixed these tiles (non aggregate version) on some external steps. I used flexy grout too. Ardex FL if I recall.

Anything similar will do the job, Rapidset Flexy for instance and I am sure the Mapei guys will come along soon and chuck in their penniesworth!

I think you probably saw the steps with the quarries, thanks for the compliment, but I used the same adhesive and grout on those as well.

I have done another set with Pilkington Multiversatile but i don't think I posted pictures of these.

Any flexible Adhesive ( frost resistant) will be suitable........

Some sales people tell you whatever you want to hear. They know nothing.
Few weeks ago one of my customer was sold wall tiles for putting on an entrance's floor. They had to go back to B&Q. 🙂

B&Q...now why doesn't that surprise me.....:mad2:.......I think all there tiling advice staff should do a course on tiling etc etc...to give them better knowldege of the trade etc.....
