algae etc on sandstone

with the onset of autumn comes the dread green slimy algae on your patio/flagstones. I've always got the pressure washer out to deal with it but it's always in the back of my mind about blasting the pointing out. Today I took a gentler approach, good old Jeyes Fluid diluted to about 1:20,,,,with a bit of agitation with a stiff brush and a gentle hosing off, they came up a treat I'm hoping that it might also stop the green slippy yuck forming so fast in future too

You can always rely on the old ones. Very good as a disinfectant too doug , brilliant on the dogs kennel area.same ratio.

any bleach should kill algae just mind you aint wearing the wife's clothes when you are doing it Doug we want pics
