angle grinder

After some help. I have a job starting a week Monday and there is no power on site, it's actually a Mausoleum so just dead people, 80sq mtrs and i will be needing a battery angle grinder for some cuts. I have 18v 3a makita and 18v 4a dewalt batteries and i am wondering where is the best price for a body only??

I don't know about the price but I know the Makita ones have had some good reviews on here recently, not heard much about the Dewalt ones.

Just outside Milton Keynes, a bit too far. Thanks very much for the offer though. It will end up being fleabay i reckon, i just hoped of a shop that was just as good a deal that i didn't know about as i am not a lover of ebay.

iv got the dewalt.
its great . loads of power .
only problem is it is big
you hold it very far back. i couldnt see it being easy to move acuratly for curved cuts.
the makita looks smaller and easier to maneauver

the generater would be the way to go. you can run mixers etc on site.

I agree about the generator. It's just that i don't get that much demand for one, yet i could use a battery grinder a whole lot more. Plus generators are a whole lot more money to buy.

Panic........... to be honest i shouldn't have to Bri. It's pretty straight cuts all the way. I might see what it costs to hire a generator for the job.

I agree about a generator being the way to go - but you can hire one - here is an example from HSS HSS Hire - 2.6kVA Portable Petrol Generator Hire and Rent

Genny is what's needed. Run your mixer, lights, kettle and radio.

the makita is the dogs but battery's don't last long you will need one on charge while you use another
