Hi forum members

Must have missed this 'new members' part of the forum. I have been looking through most of the posts which certinly educates a beginner like myself in all aspects of tiling. What a great website. well done to all you members who contribute to help beginners. I have just finished a 2 week course and still getting my equipment sorted. Not got any jobs lined up yet, but looking forward to starting up.

one question to Devonmark's post. don't you include the bacon buttie in the quote at every job maybe tiling is not for me now

Tip for you mate, you can get free business cards knocked up at vistaprint.co.uk (just pay delivery charge). Got mine yesterday, dam good quality.
Also advertised myself on Yell.com (was where my first customer got my number)

cheers penno, will certainly check out the website. I was thinking of doing my own via my computer & printer, as I'm not to bad with that side of things. my printer has 7 ink cartridges, so achieves a very good print out. Although I'm all for freebies.

If the butties don't come and the tea don't flow they get a crap job, can't concentrate when hungry and decaffed...lol

Tony, it is well worth the getting your cards done professionally, no matter how good the printer is (I know coz I have one for photography) they will always look homemade, give out the professional image from the off mate.
