Any Air Rifle owners here..?

Owned an Air Rifle pretty much all my life since 16... Mostly shoot at in-laws farm most Sundays if possible..

I have at present a BSA Lightening XL .22 with Hawk 3-9 x 40 scopes ..

What do you have .?

yep, .22 air rifle and loads of rabbits round here, the only problem is sneaking along the hedgerows with an eager hungarian pointer, (although she's steadying a lot now), but seriously thinking of getting a .22 rifle, but would need to get my firearms licence first.

Yep , FAC would be spot on for rabbits.. taken at longer range makes it easier..

a few months ago my mate came round with his 22 rifle (not air rifle), he rested barrel on top of a wall to take a shot at a rabbit, I thought "surely he's seen that stone right in front of barrel?"... nope, luckily the ricochet didn't hit me, dog or him, I've not asked him to come again:yikes:

BSA Superten .22 and recently had a full service, all the seals etc but as Doug an FAC would sooooooooooooo nice......still have 2 shotguns as well.

he's a walking catastrophe, written off more cars and motorbikes than anyone I know. But when I initially invited him round it was so we could give my dog some training, he asked afterwards if we could leave dog at home next time 'cos he's allergic to 'em......errr not as allergic as I am to random flying bullets I thought.

So how did he think you train dogs ? Take notes and read it to the dog later ?

what's a pcp?, farmer where I go fishing has an air rifle that he pressurises with something like a stirrup pump, is that a pcp?

PCP = Pre-charged pneumatic

I had a shot with it, rattled right through a tin can from farther away than my old pea shooter can. He did offer to lend it to me too.
