mini 4/5 day holiday , managed to get 4 nights in a premierinn for £116 , the new one i believe in the centre of falkirk , ok so its only a bed and bathroom , but a bargain to use as a base for a few days :8:

Not alot in Falkirk m8 . The Circus is here for 5 days though, Zippo's from 29th June. Depends what you like, Wallace Monument,Stirling Castle not far. Train ride to Edinbrugh/ Glasgow only 25mins. When you coming up ? It's not a new 1 Paul . Was the Park Hotel when i was lad. It's nice inside though, well the bar is :8:

falkirk is a bit like the land time forgot,however it i quite central for exploring the west and east coast,more popular is Stirling wich isn't too far away

falkirk just happens to be where we are staying , not what we are going to see , we got 4 nights at the premierinn for £116 so no complaints there :yikes: :lol:

stirling castle and the wallace monument are a must paul,there is a charge though,glasgow only 20ish miles away for a trip to the kelvingrove art galleries,which was free the last time i was in it.have a nice time

stirling castles a must and wallace monument......u taking kids? blair drummond safari park is near stirling also plenty good fishing that way

edinburgh s amust visit as is glasgow for the shops dont go to glasgow castle its not what it used to be mate flakirk is a good base to visit most things in scotland....loch lomond is nice as well

thanks for that , not fussed on glasgow , been before , edinburgh is looking good on the way up there , deffo going to check out the falkirk wheel , loch lomond looks good as well , might give the safari park a go as well , then the lake district on the way back , all i need now is the weather to behave :lol:
