Not many of us online so, we're either drunk or preparing for the morning! I'm not a massive fan of Christmas but, it means a lot more now I have a daughter. Do you enjoy Christmas personally or, is it a case of enjoying it because you have kids? For me Christmas has a whole new meaning now I have a daughter.

it's all for the kids Bri, just put mine to bed 5 mins ago....too excited to sleep tbh, so I've put them a dvd on in their room, just got another pressie to wrap for them and then we're all prepped and feet up

Our little one is 20 months old Doug, so it's the first one where she is aware of what's going on, I normally get smashed on Christmas eve 'coz it has no meaning but I've only had a few tonight 'coz I want to get up early and see the look on Imogens face when she sees all the gifts she's got! Life is good, I love Christmas again

Hi Bri, my lads are grown up now 28 and 30, but I still remember the magic of Christmas when they where young. I now have a granddaughter aged 13 months, so next Christmas will be magic for her and me.

Just about to get all the presents from upstairs Phil, it's amazing how my opinion of Christmas has changed since having kids! I'm going to display all the presents like perfectly laid tiles :lol:

I had to sneak one of the presents back to the shop today, to exchange it for a larger one, cost me an extra £30 + £60 for accessories.....the little beggars had better look after their tropical fish that they've been wanting all year:lol:

Got my son and daughter in law here and Howard and spent the day with H's daughter and granddaughter, just got back and true to our family style with European roots we're going to open our presents in a minute and just sit and chat together all night - perfection! Have had two hot chocolates with Baileys, so am nice and warm :lol: and just wanted to pop by quickly to say Happy Christmas to all of you lovely people.

All for the kids for me. I'm busy doing the wrapping and setting up the room for the morning and having to do it all myself as Fiona is at work. I love giving out gifts, but absolutely hate receiving them. Oldest daughter Freya was so excited when she went to bed tonight and kept asking to look at the NORAD tracking to see how close Santa was getting to our home......

Got my son a Scalectrix for Xmas! As he's 28 it means his son (5) will have a competition for the cars.
This is all because of a thread a week or so ago about Scalectrix and I got the bug.

NORAD Santa is a cute idea, but they forget that Santa actually picks up presents as well as delivers them - he can only cary 40 tons on the sleigh at any one time and his tachograph needs recalibration every 8 hours.

Duh!

He's due to pick up here in 90 minutes to coolect his goods for delivery to UK kiddies (we already got HHighways Agencies and local police setting up their weighbridge ready to check he's conforming to BSEN60432).

Apparently he's outta stock of XBox 360's though.

i hid all the pressies in the new bathroom to be up the stairs,its a great excuse for me never to have to tile it cos we will have no where to hide them once its done!
