B&Q Trade Point

I'm new to tiling and only just setting up a company etc. But opened a trade account at B&Q. Just flicking through their book and they are selling BAL 10kg Superflex Wall Grout White for £12.99+vat and BAL Supercover Rapidset Grey Adhesive 15kg for £10.32+Vat

Dont know if that's any good or not?

Why not look at a few trade depots/suppliers, they may have better prices...

Topps do the Topfix which is Palace in disguise but I never had a problem with it and it's not a bad price....if you have a Topps card though.

I have found the B & Q Trade Point card to be a waste of time, the only thing I have really saved money on was plasterboard and ply. Topps trade card is a better bet like whitebeam says, I also use toppfix and found it to be pretty good.

I called into b and q the other day to view their new range of tiles and thought it was a bit pants really.

Hi Andrew,as much as i think B&Q are cack, those are bloomin good prices for those products.
I pay about a quid more for each product, but i personally wouldn't go to B&Q as they are ruining things for time served tile distributors.
The tiles they sell are duff, and it's only their huge buying power thats makes them sell at such a cheap price.
They have no knowledge of any products,and no real interest in providing a quality service.

I have a trade point card but never use it for tiling materials, they are cheap for screws and bits like that but cack for most things

The BQ near me as just had a new coffee machine installed , great if you fancy a quick cup,and its free.

just ordered 2 x 5 litres of (cementone sbr) on my tradepoint card £16 each !! inc vat

This was'nt thru trade point but paid £60 for 25 litres of sbr.....

tradepoint are actually dearer for some items than the retail shop floor price so watch what you choose

i normally use b and spew for plasterboard and plaster......sometimes buckets and if i need stuff on a sunday

B&Q buckets are dire, used once never again.....

they aint too bad as long as yoou double and triple check them for holes....loose rogue handles and cracks lol
