back to work on thursday, made sure i've ahd the full 2 weeks off,got a few jobs in january by not making the same mistake as last year and squeezing them all in before christmas,it'll keep me going this month untill everyone pays off there christmas bills

What a strange day.
I had given myself half a day to remove 12sqm of glued lino from a kitchen floor. 9 hours later I was nearly there, but too knackered to continue. Been using a 4" & 6" scraper (with loads of blade changes). So this was the start to my new year. However, on a better note, I got 2 calls from 2 potential customers wanting work. That really made up for my sore back and blistered hands.
Cheers Sean

Depending on temperature and how well they are bonded an SDS demo/chisel drill can be handy. I had a cheapo from screwfix that has served me well over the last few years. On commercial jobs I would recomend on of these HSS Hire › Self Propelled Tile Stripper I used this on a school refurb I was working on and lifted a couple of hundred sqmtrs. Even when using one of these you should cut strips into the floor or you will just lift small peices at a time.
