Hi all,

Been looking at addy prices etc and is there a reason why weber is about 4 times cheaper (nearly) as apost to bal for rapid flexi addy and most of there addy and grouts are seriously cheaper. i just dont understand the massive difference unless theres a good reason etc. (im sure its been asked before :D)

thanks rob.

Bal offer a lifetime warranty on all their products. Bal is easier to mix and spread, really smooth. But weber is good and the price difference is not justifiable. if your going to use bal on a job you can offer the manufacturers lifetime warranty as a clincher. If bal was cheaper there would be no doubt as to which was the better one. But as prices stand weber is good value for money.

Lifetime ??? I thought it was 25 years and who will remember what adhesive was used or care ? Probably the job will be redone by then or original client moved on etc etc.....just a gimmic IMO

25 years is classed as lifetime. If you buy it from topps the bags say lifetime yes it is just a gimic your right.

the only reason BAL products are so expensive is its past reputation. years a go the only adhesive you could get was BAL then others started to appear on the market but to be honest they were not very good so BAL had the reputation of being the best. but unfortunately for BAL and fortunately for us this is no longer the case.
