Who's used BAL Rapid-Mat now it has been around for a bit?


Do you use it as a replacement for your regular uncoupling membrane or do you see it as a different product for different applications?

Used it once , never again ... Don't like it TBO.

I found it crinkled at the edges when it became wet with adhesive.

I used few times but it isn't that good.i don't think stick that well on the floor

I've recently used it for the first time (customer supplied it), and found it quite easy to cut and fit. Didn't experience any curling when setting, I did use a karndean/amtico roller on it so maybe that helped.

I made the mistake of rolling out as you would with Ditra, kneeling on it and using a float to fix down.
Never had so much adhesive on my knees

I love it.Better then ditra, for fix it use Ardex product is really easy.
