Hi Quick bit of advice, just purchased a BAL Waterproofing Kit for a shower (WP1) in a tub, didn’t have any instructions so I have looked up on BAL website, The instructions seem a little confusing or I may be misunderstanding the terminology :

The walls this is to be applied are for a shower and are new Moistureshield Plasterboard, with 2 internal corners
I have been supplied with Waterproofing which is in a tub and some reinforcement for the internal corners
And from the instructions this is my understanding of what I need to do :

  1. Tape all edges (do I add the corner reinforcement at this point ?)
  2. Apply skim coat of BAL adhesive
  3. Prime with APD
  4. Brush on WP1 in corners and taped edges (or do I add corner reinforcement here ?)
  5. Apply 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] coat of WP1 to corners and tape (how long do I leave to dry ?)
  6. Apply 2mm thick coat to complete area
  7. Leave to dry for 24 hours before tiling

Have I understood currently and when do I apply the corner reinforcement ?

Thanks
