Hi.

would the bal white star be any good for ceramic tiles to go in a bathroom?

The size of tile is 250mmx400mm. it is to be fixed on dry lined plaster board, with a few patch repairs, where previous tiles came of.

The guy in topps tiles said it should just about be ok!

Or would i be bettter geting the bal mosaic-fix tile adesive?

area to be covered is about 10 to 11 square meters.

Also would it be best to prime the old plasterboard?

just wanting some advise please, from a novice!!

Thanks.

Steve.

i would go for a white powdered adhesive standard set , mapei , webber, tile giant do all mapei products:thumbsup:

Right going to take the bal white star back to topps tiles.

I will have a credit of £50... what bal powdered product would you proffesionals recommened?

Think thats all topps tiles stock is bal!... sounds like i have chosen a expensive place to buy adesive from!

i have 10 to 11 sqm to cover... with 250x400 ceramic tiles in a bathroom.

Ask the man in Topps how the air is supposed to get into the middle of the tile to dry out?

Yes that was for a 10lt tub and a 5lt tub!

Got it exchanged now for a powdered adesive.

There is not a great deal of stockists in cumbria near to where i live, so had to make do with topps!
