Liz, I can top anything you've got on your MIL.

For starters, I finished the basement for them, two bedrooms, two bathroom, laundry room, living room, dining room, large kitchen....approx 1600 sq ft. Built to a higher standard than the rest of the house where we live. Nice cabinets, solid core doors, large trim, all mud shower and bath floors, heat mats, Andersen windows, zoned heating and cooling, 6 closets, and on and on. My men and I did every bit of the work except the ductwork and the electrical, all on nights and weekends, meanwhile keeping my business running. It took me almost a year and a half.

To date, she has yet to thank me.

She is now living where my woodworking shop was going to be.:mad2:

I have more.....

I'd thank you if you had done all that for me Rob :grouphug:

After 8 years of being together, hubby and I still sleep in separate beds in separate rooms when we visit the in-laws

thats crazy GRR, are they very protective of him?!

or maybe you just offended them lol :incazzato:

Nope, I am the model daughter in law. Or at least I would be if hubby and I lived a mile up the road from them. Hubby's brother's wife to be goes to weightwatchers with the m-i-l, and they see her every week without fail.

I think I'm in bad books because I "kept" hubby up north after he finished university....

Worked Friday, Saturday, Sunday did an Enduro on my dirt bike, Monday trials riding in the morning with my Daughter, then went and watched stock car racing with the family in the afternoon.
Where at, enduro, wifes a stockcar snob, only does formula one and was at bellevue last night (and Skegness on Friday)
