Hi, I've read lots of posts on what would be best to fit floor tiles in my bathroom.
I had decided to rip all the floorboards up and fit 18mm wbp ply, once the old floor covering and bath was out, I was left with a really solid floorboards, no noticible movement even while jumping about, seems a shame to rip it all up, especially as the joists are about 10" from the one stud wall
My question for my application is...
Can I just fit 6mm hardibacker over all the floorboards glued and screwed and tile to that as I don't want too much of a step up?
Thanks
