Baticoup 200

Has anyone use a baticoup 200 wet saw?
I bought one the other day, from a local tile merchant for £149.00.
As i was assembling it i couldn't help but think how primitive (cheap) the construction was.
It was fitted with a European plug which i changed. After some time adjusting the saw bed, so it didn't foul the blade i decided to give it a go.
The thing just buzzed loudly... but nothing moved?
Anyway took it back got me money back, and bought a plasplug master tiler (for half the price)
so was just wondering if anyone has got around to actually cutting tiles with one?

Made by tomecanic i think its the best on the market there has been a bad batch in the uk with a tight seal you may of had one of them guaranteed for 2 years should last 10 years imo makes the plasplug master tiler look like a toy i use 3 of the baticoup 230 bigger motor and blade just had a new barring in the 12 year old one and they are used by Muppet's :lol: regards Pete

HI Pete,
I agree when i first saw it it looked the part, but when i started putting it together it seemed as if it had been cobbled together!
Would have liked to have tried it though.
Did yours have the two pinned Euro plug thingy on it?

fist one i had did mine are all 110 volts from France look bit tinee on the out side but the most important thing is the motor mine are used on site by four guys at the time all day made in France better than there apples :lol: get mine from trimline not cheap mind you but so simple good for mitering
