Hi all
I know I'm not a regular poster on here but would be grateful for some advice on a flow screed.
My colleague is tiling a large floor that has been filled over the ufh with Bellitex floor screed made be Tarmac. The screeder has advised us that this Bellitex screed takes 21 days to cure and does not require any scalping of the top 2mm of latency and does not require and priming.
We are a little dubious on this advice although he is a trusted screeder but he says his advice is as per manufacturer guidelines. At the moment we cannot get through to the manufacturer.
Has anyone tiled on this screed before and not removed latency or primed?
I would be grateful for any advice. We will be using Ultra Proflex (blue bags) for fixing as per specs for the job.
Thanks in advance.
Jason
