Best Adhesive to use!!!!!!

I have a solid brick wall, that has been painted..........

Tiling it shouldnt be problem, but i'm not to sure as what adhesive to use....

I know the Bal ready mixture allows for painted wall's........

Could anyone give me advice on what is best to use......Names of adhesive would be great....

Has anyone ever done it before?????????

tiling on painted walls is dodgy practice Wes, is there any way that you strip the paint?

strip paint first mate other wise your tiles will be held onto paint,after stripping paint there is many good adhesives,mapei keraquick would be ideal for brickwork

As above, paint is not a good base for tiling. Neither is ready mixed adhesive suitable for all but a few situations imo. As stated strip paint and use a cement based adhesive

I'm going to check the job out tomorrow, I knew you guys would give me all the answers I needed before I went.....

Because I’m new, I don’t want to go down the wrong paths, I like to get things right and use the right practices....It’s all experience!!

I’ll getting the paint stripped first.....Sometimes when you read the product reviews, they say they can do everything.
