I've a feeling Mark(United) may help on this one:thumbsup:

Like Neale I'm due an upgrade soon as I'm coming to the end of my 18month contract with T-Mobile:thumbsup:

Anybody getting a particularly good deal at the moment? I've been a bit narked that I get charged for anything over 5 picture texts and all 0800, 0845, etc numbers. I also get charged everytime I phone my voicemail number:thumbsdown:

So I'm on the look out for a good deal:thumbsup:

Most networks charge for 0845 and 0800 numbers. I normally try not to call those numbers from my mobile and if I have to I try to search for a free number using www.saynoto0870.com/

Do you have your last few bills handy? PDF versions you can email?

I'm on Flex35 with T-Mobile Mark, but normally getting hit for about 50quids a month with MMS, voicemail and 0800 numbers added on:mad2:

The best thing to do is have a look at your last 3 - 6 bills and take an average for everything

Text
Minutes
Data
MMS
0845 call costs

Once you have an average you then know what the minimum you need from your next tariff / plan

Some people are value driven and just want the cheapest deal others are handset driven and want the best of the best no matter how much it costs.

Be careful of long contracts like 24 month as you really don't want to commit for that long. Only go 18 Month at the Max.

I would give T mobile a call first and tell them you want to leave (make sure you say you want a PAC code) then let them try to keep you with some deals. You should get what you want out of them as they are desperate to keep customers.

Give me a shout if you don't get what you want out of them and I will check with a few mates as to what deals are going on.

Hope this all makes sense
